Theme Installation and Configuration

You can install and configure MH UrbanMag by following a few simple steps. After you’ve installed the MH Magazine lite (parent theme), you can install and activate the MH UrbanMag (child theme) and then proceed with the theme configuration. By default the theme will display an archive with your latest posts on the front page.

If you want to have a magazine-style front page with widgets (like shown in the theme demo), you need to create and set a static front page, assign the widgetized Homepage template to your static front page and then you can place widgets on your front page as you like.

Please note that the theme demo shows the premium version of MH Magazine and not all the shown widgets are included in the free version of your theme. To take full advantage of the included custom widgets and layout options, you can upgrade to MH Magazine.

Home 2: MH Posts Large [lite] widget
Home 6: Default WordPress Text widget with advertisement
Home 6: MH Tabbed [lite] widget
Home 6: MH Custom Posts [lite] widget
